01/13/10--- Well it just keeps on getting better. The new Popcorn Hour media extender device specifications have been released.  Below are the many codec's this unit supports is staggering. This unit will allow affordable media distribution around the home. It features a full set of I/O interfaces such as Component video, composite video, Digital Coaxial, S-Video, and HDMI.  The unit will be priced at $179. This definitely will put most expensive media extenders out of business. You can't even get proper media streaming with all of these codec's like on a XBOX 360 or PS3
